A Prayer

Joel and I are working with Asia, teaching her how to pray on her own. Here's one from the other night.


Joel: Dear God,

Asia: Dear God,


Thank you for today

Thank you for today


Thank you I got to go to the grocery store

Thank you I got to go to grocery store, see the food


Thank you for mommy

Thank you for YOU (pokes me in the chest)


Thank you for daddy

And for gage


Thank you for grandpa and grandma

Thank you for grandma and grandma (yes, you read that right)


Help mommy's owie to feel better

Help your owie right there (points to my mouth)


Help daddy to work good tomorrow

Help daddy work


In Jesus name, Amen.

Amen!

that's cute! asia seems to be very good at talking - she seemed easy to understand when you were here a couple of weeks ago! jenny just mutters incoherently when she is "praying" and then says "amen" when she's done... it's cute. i tried to teach her a Bible verse a couple of weeks ago: "God is love"... she usually says "Gawd... lub" and sometimes will say "Gawd... ist... lub" (with all the pauses)! it's so much fun to watch them learn!
